I've Been Away

Dear Younger Me,

It’s about time you hear from me again.

For the past two weeks I’ve been out. Exploring new cities, meeting new people, and pivoting my plans.

But I’ve not done you justice.

I haven’t kept you updated.

That is not fair to you.

Quite frankly, it’s not fair to me either.

Younger me, my main goal is to give you the tools, mindsets, frameworks, or future experiences early on so that you can be better off than you were before.

What I’ve come to realize is that as much of help this may be to you…

I’ve grown ever more too.

For me to write something worthwhile to you. Something that actually makes you think. Something that might even change your actions, I need to reflect deep within myself. I need to account for my own personal learnings, experiences, thoughts, and behaviors.

Doing this has helped me learn more, experience more, and think more.

I encourage you to do the same.

Write letters to your younger self too.

It might just make all the difference.
